The 2026/27 season has a clear direction: skin that looks like skin, colours you can see – and products that do not end up in the bin after one season. These are the five trends we see most often backstage and on social media, and how to do them with just a few products.
1. Skin first: glow instead of mask
Full-coverage matte foundation is over. The trend is thinly applied, slightly luminous skin where freckles and texture remain visible. How to: warm a drop of INCEPTION liquid foundation between your fingers and apply only where you need evening out. Mattify only the T-zone with the loose powder ; the cheeks stay glowy. A touch of Powder Gloss on the cheekbones sets the shine.
2. Monochrome look
One shade on eyes, cheeks and lips – the fastest route to a coherent look. Terracotta and peach work for warm skin tones, rosé and mauve for cool ones, and berry and plum look most beautiful on dark skin. INCEPTION blush on the cheeks, the same shade pressed softly onto the mobile lid with a finger, plus the INCEPTION lipstick in the matching tone.
3. Deep berry tones on the lips
After years of "clean girl" nude lips, colour is back: deep berry, cherry, bordeaux. The trick for a modern look: apply lipstick, blot with a tissue, second layer – the colour lasts and looks like a stain. The No. 11 lip brush makes the outline precise.
4. Statement eyes with a single palette
Coloured eyeshadow is back, but used deliberately: one strong shade in the corner of the lid or as a line along the lower lash line, the rest stays minimal.
